Old Home Day Celebrated

Residents looking for fun found that there was a lot to choose from at last Saturday’s Old Home Days events. From frog jumping to pie eating to road races to just visiting with friends, it was hard not to have a good time. Top left clockwise, Boy Scouts hold the Old Home Day banner during the annual parade; members of the Hampstead Dance Academy perform one of their many dance routines in front of the announcer’s table; Nick Brennan, 11, hurries to wolf down his apple pie during the pie-eating competition; first and second place winners in the kids’ road race were Pierson Freligh, 8, first in the 1K Kids Road Race, and Sophie Martinage, 8, second; the kids’ bicycle parade heads out; Gina Boudreau, 5, takes a plunge at the water slide, a new addition to this year’s festivities; and Annabella Lafond coaxes her frog, Bob, across the finish line to take first place in the frog jumping competition.
