2013 Honors:

• Loren Appolonia of Hampstead was initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, a national honor society, in spring 2013. Appolonia is pursuing a degree in education at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. Membership is by invitation.
• Mariel Valliere of Hampstead was recognized as a Presidential Scholar at Merrimack College, North Andover, Mass., at the college’s annual Honors Convocation in spring 2013. Valliere is majoring in business administration. The Presidential Scholar designation is awarded to students who have achieved a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average.
