Police Seek Suspect in Sleep Inn Robbery Sept. 10

Londonderry Police report that on Sept. 10 at 6:15 a.m., a Caucasian male subject described as in his 20s, wearing a navy blue zip-up sweatshirt with pockets on the front, a navy blue baseball hat and a blue bandanna, western style, covering his face, entered the Sleep Inn on Perkins Road. He was described as about 5 feet 8 inches in height, thin and wearing sunglasses.

The motel clerk said the subject told him, “I’m robbing you” and later stated, “I know you have cash” and “I don’t want to get violent.”
The hotel worker gave the robber $300 in cash. The robber exited the front door and ran north.
Police report that after receiving the 911 call from the front desk clerk reporting the robbery, Officer Christopher Wiggin arrived and checked a pedestrian on Bartley Hill Road, and Officer Randy Duguay checked Tedeschi Foods. Derry police were notified.
There has been no arrest and the investigation is ongoing.
